Ofgem typical use figures are 3,200kWh electricity, 13,500kWh gas or 4,600kWh for E7.

The £1 cheaper a week promise is based on comparing electricity only, gas only or dual fuel Blue+Price Promise tariff against new tariffs (launched since you joined or your last price alert notification) on equivalent payment methods and at typical annual consumption (currently defined by Ofgem as 3,200kWh for Standard meter electricity and 13,500kWh for Standard meter gas, and as 4,600kWh for Economy 7 meter electricity). Where this results in another tariff being more than £52 less per year, than the Blue+Price Promise tariff, this will be treated as the tariff being more than £1 cheaper a week. For more details on how our Blue+Price Promise works visit edfenergy.com/blue. Competitor tariffs may be subject to availability; check with the supplier for full information.

†† Low-carbon electricity purchased for Blue is supplied into the National Grid. Blue customers receive electricity via the National Grid, not directly from low-carbon generators. Find out more
